WHAT TO EXPECT
Get a taste of the Red Centre on this tour. Experience highlights like Kata Tjuta and The Rock in just two days, with a night of bush camping in between!
Day 1: Yulara - Kata Tjuta - Uluru
Start your day with a pick up from Yulara.
Hit the road to Kata Tjuta, where you’ll have the option of heading out to explore the site’s 36 domes. Learn about its ecological and geological significance from your guide along the way. This is definitely a walk worth doing!
Later, as the evening sets in, head back toward Uluru for a special sunset encounter. Relax with a glass of bubbles and enjoy snacks as you watch a mesmerising display of colour, light and shadow on The Rock.
Afterwards, wine and dine by star and candlelight during a ‘1,000 Star Dinner’. This is an experience you won't forget.
Tonight you'll set up camp in permanent safari tents with shared facilities.
Day 2: Uluru Sunrise - Cultural Experience
Today it’s off to Uluru! To catch the sunrise you’ll be getting up early this morning. Enjoy another stunning light show as the desert comes to life. Breakfast is included.
After watching the sun rear up over the world’s largest slab of sandstone, explore Uluru at your own pace. Head off on a stroll or just take in the awesome views.
When you return, an indigenous guide will explain a little about the site’s great significance on a cultural interpretive walk. You'll then have the opportunity to learn more about this at the Uluru Cultural Centre.
Afterwards, you'll hop back on the bus and return to Yulara. You'll arrive at approximately 12.00 pm.
