ITINERARY
Start Point:
Alice Springs
End Point:
Alice Springs

Be ready for a 5:30 pick up from your accommodation in Alice Springs, as you will soon be on your way to your first destination, the spectacular Kings Canyon. Here you will enjoy a 3-hour hike to the rim of the canyon to see the ‘Lost City’ and witness the morning sun gleam over the sandstone domes. You will then visit the several amphitheatres, north and south walls and descend into the beautiful palm-filled Garden of Eden. Next, you will stop at Curtin Springs, where you have time for a quick shower and toilet stop before setting up your Bush Camp. A healthy camp-oven dinner will be prepared by your guide, and you will then have the chance to relax around the open fire and stargaze at one of the best night skies in the world.

After waking up to a spectacular sunrise over the camp, you will head to Ayers Rock campground for a wash and toilet stop before making your way to ‘The Olgas’ – a group of large, domed rock formations. As you walk through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta, feel the spiritual significance of the land and listen to your guide as he informs you about the historical past-time of the area. You’ll then head to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you’ll be told tales from the ‘Tjukurpa’ Dreamtime. Tonight you’ll experience your first sunset over Uluru and witness the magical rock face changing colour – an unforgettable sight. You’ll then spend the time at Ayers Rock, equipped with a campground, toilet and showers.

It’s an early start this morning as you depart the Ayers Rock Campground in time to catch the stunning sunrise over the world’s largest rock. You’ll then have the opportunity to complete an Uluru Base Walk, stopping by beautiful sites including the Mutijulu Waterhole and witnessing authentic aboriginal cave paintings. We will then drop you off at Ayers Rock airport 1 hour before your flight. This trip is perfect for those who are in a hurry and who have booked cheap flights with Jetstar or Virgin from Ayers Rock to their next destination.
