WHAT TO EXPECT
Due to seasonal changes, itinerary may vary.
Day 1: Darwin - Daly Waters
You'll depart Darwin at around 6 am, ready for a day full of adventure.
Stop at Edith Falls, a stunning series of waterfalls in Nitmiluk National Park, and then at Mataranka Hot Springs where you can enjoy a dip in the warm water!
Next, it's onto Daly Waters, a small town famous for its pub! See what all the fuss as you enjoy a free meal here. Tonight, chat with your fellow travellers and before settling into your shared dorm accommodation.
Day 2: Daly Waters - Alice Springs
Depart Daly Waters in the morning for another day of driving through the Red Centre.
On your way to Alice Springs, stop at The Devils Marbles, an incredible rock formation.Known as 'Karlu Karlu' by the Aboriginal people, you'll be wowed by the piles of gigantic granite boulders perched atop one another.
Afterwards, continue on to Alice Springs, marvelling at the changing desert scenery as you go.
You'll arrive around 6 pm, where you'll spend the night in dorm accommodation.
Day 3: Alice Springs - Uluru
Get started at 6 am and begin your outback journey of a lifetime! You're travelling to Uluru today, so get ready for some incredible sights and scenery.
After arriving, enjoy lunch before heading to the Cultural Centre to learn about the area. Gain an insight into the flora, fauna and the local Aboriginal people of the Red Centre.
Later, enjoy a guided interpretive walk at the base of Uluru.
In the evening, head off to watch the spectacular Uluru sunset. Watch the colours change over the rock while enjoying a glass of bubbly and nibbles.
Afterwards, it’s back to camp to enjoy a hearty meal, a hot shower and a night under the stars.
Day 4: Kata Tjuta & Kings Creek
Enjoy an early breakfast before watching the sunrise over Uluru, then it’s off to Kata Tjuta for a walk through the Valley of the Winds.
After lunch, travel to Kings Creek Station and marvel at the beautiful George Gill Range along the way.
Enjoy an outback BBQ dinner here, and laugh with your fellow travellers around the campfire.
Later, get into your swags for another perfect view of the stars and the incredible outback sky.
Day 5: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Another early start today! After breakfast, take on the spectacular Kings Canyon rim walk.
Visit the North and South walls, The Garden of Eden, as well as the Natural Amphitheatre.
After this amazing walk, hit the road starting the journey back to Alice Springs. On the way home, stop at the camel farm for a free camel ride.
You'll arrive back in Alice late afternoon.
