Take a leap of faith from the world famous Kawarau Bridge - the world's very first Bungy jump! Opened in 1988 by Bungy jump pioneer AJ Hackett, this is where the crazy phenomenon began, and 25 years later, it's still the most popular Bungy site attracting tens of thousands of thrill-seekers every year.
Nestled deep into the rock face and overlooking the spectacular Kawarau River, the view alone will take your breath away. You can choose from a variety of Bungy styles, from bobbing above the water, to skimming it slightly or going full dunk! The Kawarau Bridge Bungy is also the ONLY place in Queenstown where you can Tandem Bungy. You'll be attached by your feet and freefall 43 metres - it is bound to get your heart pumping!
The Kawarau Bridge Bungy centre is located on State Highway 6 at the gateway to Queenstown. You can choose from a range of activities including Bungy Jumping (individual or tandem), Bungy Swinging, Zipriding & Climbing - an adrenaline seeker's paradise!
