WA is waiting! Explore Australia's spectacular West Coast and uncover pristine beaches, unique wildlife, stunning views and famous landmarks. Travel from Perth and back again with stops at York, Cape Le Grand, Margaret River and the Stirling Ranges along the way. 



Day 1 - Perth to Fitzgerald River National Park

Your adventure begins in Perth. Travel east over the Darling Ranges and stop for a coffee break in the historic town of York. This is WA's oldest inland town, so take some time to wander around and explore.

Next, hit the road to Wave Rock, where you'll stop for a shady lunch.

In the afternoon pull in to Fitzgerald River National Park, and enjoy an afternoon beach stroll before pitching camp for the night. Snuggle beneath the stars in a swag and enjoy a real bush camping experience.

Today you will travel for around 9 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 1 hour. Fitzgerald River National Park hastoilet but no shower facilities. Lunch and dinner are provided.

Day 2 - Fitzgerald River NP to Esperance and Cape Le Grand

Begin the morning with a brisk hike up East Mt Baron to get your blood pumping! Afterward hop aboard for the drive to Esperance and catch some great coastal views along the way.  

Next, get ready for some of Australia’s most spectacular scenery. This area of WA has 9 National Parks, the most spectacular being Cape Le Grand, your home for the night! The ocean here is crystal clear and you might even catch eastern grey ‘roos sunbaking on the white sand. 

You have a free afternoon here so take your pick from activities. Enjoy a coastal bushwalk, swim in the sparkling sea or get in some photography practice with the local wildlife. 

Today you travel 3 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 3 hours. Cape Le Grand has toilet and shower facilities.All meals are provided.

Day 3 - Cape Le Grand National Park & Stirling Ranges

This morning, it's off to Frenchman's Peak to catch some of the impressive views from its top.

Then, back to the bus for the drive to Stirling Ranges. You'll call in for lunch near Esperance along the way and enjoy some last glances of ocean and sand.  Depending on the time of the year you'll have the chance to see beautiful wildflowers or even escape the heat with a stop at a river or waterfall. 

Tonight you will camp at a private campground in the Stirling Ranges.

Today you travel about 6 hours and walk for about 4.5 hours. Stirling Ranges has shower and toilet facilities. All meals are provided.

Day 4 - South West coastlines and forests

Today, cruise along WA’s glorious stretch of coastline and discover how years of natural erosion have crafted incredible rock sculptures and granite bluffs. Check out the Natural Bridge and The Gap and be wowed by breathtaking views of the sea.

Afterward, its tie to head inland to the Valley of the Giants, a giant forest of towering Red Tingle trees, many of which are over 400 years old. Take a stroll through these trees and climb the Diamond Tree, which towers 50 meters above the ground and is equipped with a staircase. It was once used as a fire lookout and is one of three wooden top towers in this area.

Your last lot of driving today brings you to Quinninup camp.

Today you drive about 4 hours and walk about 1.5 hours. Quinninup Caravan Park which has shower and toilet facilities. All meals are provided.

Day 5 - Quinninup to Margaret River

It's time to taste the Margaret River today. Eat, drink and discover delicious local fare and visit boutique breweries, chocolate, cheese and fudge factories.

Today you travel for 4 hours. All meals are included.

Day 6 - Margaret River to Perth

It's goodbye time! Your final day will bring you to Koomal Dreaming where you will have the opportunity to taste native foods, discover bush medicine and experience traditional fire lighting with local indigenous people. Hear stories of the Dreaming spirits and delve down into the Ngilgi Cave. Here you'll experience a for a unique didgeridoo cave performance. 

Afterwards, hit the road back to sunny Perth! Relax in hotel comfort tonight or join tour fellow travellers for drinks and dinner later on (at own expense).

Today you will drive for approximately 3 hours. Please make sure you have booked your Perth accommodation before departure. Breakfast and lunch included. Group dinner at own expense.

Personal belongings, sleeping bag, travel pillow, torch, rainproof jacket, walking shoes, swimmers and towel, water bottle, insect repellent, hat, and sunscreen. Bags are restricted to 1x 15kg backpack/soft travel bag per person, plus one small piece of hand luggage.  

 We offer plenty of variety and do our best to provide fresh products - PLEASE let us know of any special dietary requirements. We also recommend to our passengers who may have a difficult diet to cater for to bring some of their own preferred foods for the journey. Snacks, soft drinks and alcohol are not included.

Our tours are camping adventures and participation and involvement is required from our passengers. Accommodation on tour is a mixture of national parks, campgrounds, bush camps (no facilities). When camping, we use individual swags provided by Nullarbor Traveller. (Our wet weather option is 3 person dome tents shared by a maximum of 2 people per tent)  We like to be flexible with our camping spots as sometimes weather conditions will dictate the best place to camp. If the weather is unreliable the guide may suggest to the group to stop in an accommodated premises - this is at the individual's own cost.

We travel in air-conditioned minibuses which can accommodate up to 18 people.

  1. The supplier reserves the right to substitute vehicles or change itinerary wherever necessary to ensure the operation of the tour. No refund will be paid if the different itinerary is offered.

  2. Some activities are run by independent operators and the supplier cannot be held responsible if they are not available at any time.

  3. No liability will be accepted for injury, sickness, loss, damage or delay however caused. The supplier highly recommends that the passengers take out travel insurance, and cannot guarantee connection with any other service or operation. The supplier reserves the right to refuse to carry or continue to carry any passenger, luggage or goods.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that a booking is cancelled, the following fees will apply:

  • Cancellations between 14 and 7 days before departure: 50% of the total cost
  • Cancellations between 6 and 2 days of departure: 75% of the total cost
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of departure: 100% of the cost
  • Please note: one change of departure is allowed free of charge.
