Reise von Perth und zurück mit Zwischenstopps in York, Cape Le Grand, Margaret River und die Stirling Ranges nach dem Weg.
Route
Day 1 - Perth to Fitzgerald River National Park
Your adventure begins in Perth. Travel east over the Darling Ranges and stop for a coffee break in the historic town of York. This is WA's oldest inland town, so take some time to wander around and explore.
Next, hit the road to Wave Rock, where you'll stop for a shady lunch.
In the afternoon pull in to Fitzgerald River National Park, and enjoy an afternoon beach stroll before pitching camp for the night. Snuggle beneath the stars in a swag and enjoy a real bush camping experience.
Today you will travel for around 10 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 1 hour. Fitzgerald River National Park hastoilet but no shower facilities. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Day 2 - Fitzgerald River NP to Esperance and Cape Le Grand
Begin the morning with a brisk hike up East Mt Baron to get your blood pumping! Afterwards, hop aboard for the drive to Esperance and catch some great coastal views along the way.
Next, get ready for some of Australia’s most spectacular scenery. This area of WA has 9 National Parks, the most spectacular being Cape Le Grand, your home for the night! The ocean here is crystal clear and you might even catch eastern grey ‘roos sunbaking on the white sand.
You have a free afternoon here so take your pick from activities. Enjoy a coastal bushwalk, swim in the sparkling sea or get in some photography practice with the local wildlife.
Today you travel 3 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 3 hours. Cape Le Grand has toilet and shower facilities.All meals are provided.
Day 3 - Cape Le Grand National Park & Stirling Ranges
This morning, it's off to Frenchman's Peak to catch some of the impressive views from its top.
Then, back to the bus for the drive to Stirling Ranges. You'll call in for lunch near Esperance along the way and enjoy some last glances of ocean and sand. Depending on the time of the year you'll have the chance to see beautiful wildflowers or even escape the heat with a stop at a river or waterfall.
Tonight you will camp at a private campground in the Stirling Ranges.
Today driving time is about 6 hours and walking time is about 4.5 hours. Tonight you'll swag camp at a privacampgroundund in the Stirling Ranges with shower and toilet facilities. All meals are provided.
Day 4 - South West coastlines and forests
You're off to an early start today! Begin your morning with a visit to the oldest mountain range in the world, the unique Porongurups. Rising from the landscape like an island they are a truly magnificent site. Next, set out on a two-hour hike through some spectacular forests to Castle Rock. It's a bit of a climb but worth every bit of effort when you see the views!
Then, it's time to start the drive along Western Australia’s answer to Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. You’ll be treated to superb views of sun-bleached boulders, turquoise seas and dramatic red-rock cliffs shaped by eons of crashing waves and rolling tides. Visit the Gap, Natural Bridge, Elephant Rocks and Green Pools for a swim in a sheltered swim and then a stop at the largest Tingle Tree in Western Australia.
Today you'll drive about 4 hours and walk about 1.5 hours. Tonight you stay in Quinninup Caravan Park which has shower and toilet facilities and all meals are provided.
Day 5 - Quinninup to Margaret River
Start the day discovering the pristine wilderness region of Walpole. If feeling brave you can climb the 50 metre Diamond Tree, a native karri tree once used as a fire lookout and only 1 of 3 wooden top towers in the world.
Then, it's time to taste the Margaret River today. Eat, drink and discover delicious local fare and visit boutique breweries, chocolate, cheese and fudge factories.
Today you travel for 5 hours. All meals are included. You'll swag camp at a campground with shower and toilet facilities with all meals are provided. There is even limited phone charging here.
Day 6 - Margaret River to Perth
It's goodbye time! Your final day will bring you to Koomal Dreaming where you will have the opportunity to taste native foods, discover bush medicine and experience traditional fire lighting with local indigenous people. Hear stories of the Dreaming spirits and delve down into the Ngilgi Cave. Here you'll experience a for a unique didgeridoo cave performance.
Then, as your adventure draws to an end, it's time for one final stop for lunch and a swim at the popular tourist town of Busselton. It’s hard to miss the 19th-century Jetty stretching 1.8km into Geographe Bay here!
Afterwards, hit the road back to sunny Perth! Relax in hotel comfort tonight or join tour fellow travellers for drinks and dinner later on (at own expense).
Today you will drive for approximately 4 hours. Please make sure you have booked your Perth accommodation before departure. Breakfast and lunch included. Group dinner at own expense.
