IMPORTANT INFORMATION & CANCELLATIONS
Cairns river boarding tours are a physically demanding white water adventure. For your own protection, there are a number of compulsory requirements for individuals wishing to participate in this day tour.
All participants have to complete water confidence training, which will involve swimming a grade 2 rapid, prior to the boarding tour. If unable to complete the training for whatever reason, individuals will not be able to participate in the Cairns river boarding tour.
Guests wanting to book a supplier white water river boarding tour should be over 18 years of age. People aged 16 years and over can participate, but will need to be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
Every participant must sign a liability release form prior to commencing boarding or swim training. Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before travel will attract a 50% cancellation fee at the Operator’s discretion. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before travel will attract a 100% cancellation fee and no refund at the Operator’s discretion. Booking rescheduling made less than 72 hours before travel may be subject to a re-booking fee (payable immediately upon rebooking).
If a customer fails to be at the allocated pick up location at the allocated pick up time, they will be considered Fail to Load and will attract a 100% cancellation fee, should only a deposit have been paid the credit card held by the supplier will be charged the remaining balance.
The supplier reserves the right to change itinerary or prices at any time without notice.
The supplier reserves the right to cancel or amend any tour due to certain conditions and limitations; including but not limited to dangerous conditions and insufficient client numbers.
Cancellations made by the supplier due to certain conditions and limitations will entitle the customer to a 100% refund of the Booking Price.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Please note some medical conditions, impairments or disabilities may exclude participants from boarding for safety reasons (eg pregnancy).
Participants should disclose any medical conditions (including food allergies) at time of booking. Any uncertainty of medical/ physical conditions we recommend you seek advice of a medical practitioner prior to booking.
To participate in a supplier river boarding tour, you must be able to answer YES to the below statements:
• I am a confident swimmer
• I am medically and physically fit
• I will have my A-game on, that means no drugs or alcohol
• I can understand basic English instructions
If you can’t give a definite YES answer to all four of the above statements, or have any questions on restrictions, please feel free to contact the supplier.
Any participant found to under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be unable to take part in the tour.
