Day 1: Kakadu National Park, Wildlife and Crocodile Cruise, Marrakai Floodplains and Ubirr Rock
Your journey through the Aussie outback starts with an early pick up from your Darwin accommodation.
As you travel, sit back and enjoy the scenic drive. Your first stop is Adelaide River, where you'll embark on an incredible wildlife cruise. Witness the giant Saltwater crocodile in its natural habitat, check out flying foxes and giant birds of prey, scan the riverbanks for local wildlife and relax as the world passes you by.
Continue your adventure to Kakadu National Park with a beautiful drive across the Marrakai floodplains.
This afternoon, check out Ubirr, a fascinating Aboriginal site with ancient rock paintings dating back over 20,000 years.
Next, soak up the scenery on a climb up to the rocky outcrop where you'll be rewarded with panoramas of the Arnhem Land sandstone plateau and views of the entire national park.
As night falls, head back to the campsite to cook dinner over the fire and share stories under the stars.

Day 2: Twin Falls, Jim Jim Falls, Budjimi Lookout and Arnhemland Escarpment
Today, head off-road and through the jungle on your way to cascading Twin Falls. Crossover Jim Jim Creek and cruise through the Twin Falls gorge, admiring the towering cliffs, ancient rock and impressive waterfalls. Once you arrive, take the escarpment walk to the top of the falls for a swim in away from the crowds or take a dip in the turquoise plunge pool.
Later, it's back into the 4x4, as you journey on through the rainforest to the Budjimilookout. Enjoy sweeping views across the ancient Arnhem Land escarpment and trek through vine forests and rocky outcrops to the 150 metre-high Jim Jim Falls. Enjoy an invigorating swim in the cool blue waters and marvel at the spectacular waterfall.
After dark, head back to your campsite at Garnamarr, at the base of the escarpment. Feast on a traditional Aussie BBQ with crocodile, buffalo, and kangaroo and enjoy a late night camping under the stars.

Day 3: Warradjan Cultural Centre, Maguk (Barramundi Gorge) and Jabiru
It’s another early start with a visit to the Warradjan Cultural Centre this morning. Learn more about the local Aboriginal people of Kakadu National Park here and discover the oldest living culture in the world. The Aborigines have been living in the Northern Territory for over 50,000 years and the Cultural Centre provides a unique insight into their history and connection with Kakadu and Arnhem Land National Parks.
That afternoon, hit the road again and make your way to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). Follow the path to the falls through towering paperback forests and across a dry and rocky landscape, crisscrossing the creek and clambering over boulders until you reach Maguk Falls. Snap some pictures, cool off in the blue waters, get your aching muscles massaged by the waterfall and enjoy the incredible views from the top. This is the perfect way to relax.
After your afternoon relaxing in one of the most beautiful spots in Kakadu National Park, it's time to check out your special accommodation at Aurora Kakadu Lodge. This resort-style caravan park is a haven in the jungle! With a magnificent lagoon style pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens and a poolside bar and bistro, you'll feel truly spoiled.
