WHAT TO EXPECT
Come face to face with one of the world’s deadliest creatures in this incredible Jumping Crocodile Cruise along the Adelaide River. Join a small group tour on a drive through the beautiful Aussie outback. Once you reach the Adelaide River, one of the most crocodile infested areas in the world, the action begins!
After pick up from your Darwin accommodation at 10.00 am, you'll travel approximately 1-hour to the Adelaide River. Once there arrival, you and your group will board a boat for a jumping crocodile cruise. The boats were built to get passengers up close to the really big crocs, so keep your arms in the boat! You'll get up close and personal with the giant saltwater crocodile in its natural habitat. Get your camera at the ready to capture these magnificent beasts as they leap out of the water. This is when huge birds of prey swoop in to get a piece of the action, so keep your eyes on the sky too! This is as close as you’re ever likely to get to the beautiful White Breasted Sea Eagle. The Adelaide River thrives with wildlife so wherever you're looking, there’s something to see.
Your next stop is at Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre to take in the spectacular views of the wetlands, local bird and animal life. Afterwards, return to Darwin. You'll arrive at around 2.00 pm.
