Come face to face with one of the world’s deadliest creatures in this incredible Jumping Crocodile Cruise along the Adelaide River. Join our small group tour through as we drive through the beautiful Aussie outback on our way to the Adelaide River, one of the most crocodile infested areas in the world.
Our specially designed boats allow us to get up close and personal with the giant saltwater crocodile in its natural habitat. Get your camera at the ready to capture these magnificent beasts as they leap out of the water and keep an eye on the skies as huge birds of prey swoop in to get a piece of the action! With all your transport, fees and an expert local guide included, this family-friendly group tour is excellent value for money and provides a unique opportunity to see Australia’s incredible wildlife in their natural environment.
We start the day with pick up from your Darwin accommodation at 10am. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic views of the Aussie outback as we drive for approximately an hour in our comfortable air-con minibus. Upon arrival, we board our custom built boat and embark on an incredible Jumping Crocodile Cruise along the Adelaide River with our friendly and experienced croc-handler, Pat.
The saltwater crocodile is one of the world’s deadliest creatures, and our purpose-built boats allow us to really get up close with these giant beasts as they leap out of the water, a must-do Territory experience! As we cruise through croc-infested waters, keep your cameras poised and one eye on the sky. This is the closest you’re ever likely to get to the majestic White Breasted Sea Eagle as big birds of prey swoop in to steal all the meat meant for the crocs! The Adelaide River area thrives with amazing wildlife and this incredible boat trip is the perfect way to see this beautiful area in all it’s natural glory.
We finish up our amazing day trip by dropping into the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre, taking in the spectacular panoramic views of the wetlands, home to hundreds of different bird species and offering a unique insight into the natural habitats of the local wildlife. After a long day exploring the Aussie outback and coming face to face with the incredible saltwater crocodile, it’s time for us to head back to Darwin. Kick back and enjoy the afternoon drive as we speed through the Aussie outback, dropping you home just in time for a beautiful Northern Territories sunset.
