Travelling from Queenstown to Milford Sound, you&#39;ll be immersed in one of&nbsp;New Zealand&#39;s most naturally beautiful places. Fiordland&#39;s Milford Sound is a&nbsp;place of stunning fiords, fairytale waterfalls, picturesque nature and rare wildlife and it&#39;s a must-see in New Zealand. 
 
Along the way, you&#39;ll also get to enjoy scenic treats, from sweeping lake views to mountain range vistas. 
 
From Queenstown, hit the road&nbsp;south along the scenic shores of Lake Wakatipu and enjoy a drive surrounded by peaceful farmland and stunning mountain ranges. 
 
Your journey continues towards these mountains with a stop at&nbsp; Te Anau, where you&#39;ll get a taste of what&#39;s ahead. Nestled on the edge of Lake Te Anau, the town is known as the gateway to the gateway to Fiordland and offers just a snippet of the stunning beauty to come.&nbsp; 
 
After wandering the town for 30 minutes, it&#39;s time to hop back onboard and head deeper into&nbsp;Fiordland National Park. There&#39;ll be plenty of scenic stops for stunning photos along the way and you&#39;ll get to stretch your legs with a couple of short nature walks before you arrive&nbsp;in Milford Sound. 
 
Now it&#39;s time for the real adventure to begin! This will be the highlight of your holiday - a cruise through Milford Sound is something truly special. 
 
Jucy&#39;s modern catamaran, the &#39;Maiden of Milford&#39;, offers three viewing decks, both inside and out, and gives you the&nbsp;ultimate experience of this majestic&nbsp;fiord landscape. &nbsp;The sheer mountains, towering waterfalls and amazing wildlife will take your breath away. 
 
If you fancy something a little more celebratory than tea (and who wouldn&#39;t in this stunning landscape!), the&nbsp;&lsquo;Off the Rocks&rsquo; bar will&nbsp;quench your thirst. 
 
Enjoy 1.5 hours cruising through the pristine waters and falls of Milford Sound before you head back to the bus and return to Queenstown.

Pure Milford

Excellent tour, lovely bus, great guide. Our driver and guide Carl was very knowledgeable, informative and fun and did a great job of engaging with and looking after customers . Early morning start is worth it to miss the crowd later in day. Highly recommend.

Milford tour

We had to get up super early, but then we got most out of the Day. The trip from Queenstown to Milford Sound was perfect, the busdriver had a lot to tell on the way there. We enjoyed it a lot

Great day trip!

The bus ride was beautiful and the guide popped in every now and then with interesting facts about towns, areas etc. Several stops were made along the way, for pictures to be taken and some leg stretching, even a coffee/food break. We had clear weather for the bus ride to Milford Sound and during the ca 1.5 hour boat ride, so we really got a lot out of the trip. Milford is crazy beautiful, like a mysterious fairy tale land. Got more foggy when we got back but that was okay. It started raining, which enhanced the bus ride back because then you get all the stunning waterfalls before the tunnel (which is close to Milford Sound). Drop-off at airport or in Queenstown so that was flexible as well. Perfect day-trip!

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS the supplier at its discretion may allow cancellation of bookings on the following conditions:

- within 24 hours or non-notification of the event of departure at a penalty of 100% of the tour cost.

- unused vouchers are not transferrable or refundable.

- for packages that include flights, bookings cancelled more than 72 hours prior to the departure time, there will be no charge. For flights cancelled between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to departure time the supplier reserves the right to charge 33% of the full cost of the flight.

- For flights cancelled within 24 hours prior to departure time, or in the case of a &#39;no show&#39;, you will be charged the full cost of the flight.

- persons committing an illegal act or contravening New Zealand Health and Safety legislation (being a health danger to themselves or others) will be removed from the tour and no refund will be due.

ITINERARY AND INCLUSIONS The itinerary is correct at the time of publication and will be adhered to within reason, but may be changed due to weather or safety conditions or at the discretion of the supplier. In order to meet servicing requirements a glass roof coach may not always be available. Where food is included in the price of your package, the supplier will endeavour to meet dietary requests but this may not always be possible. Changes to itinerary, inclusions, pick-up times or the use of third party operators shall not give the traveller a right of cancellation or refund. The supplier and its Agents, are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from any changes.

LUGGAGE AND POSSESSIONS the supplier does not accept liability for loss of luggage or other possessions. Luggage and possessions are subject to the conditions of the Carriage of Goods Act 1979. It is recommended that all passengers have their own travel insurance.
