The rugged, World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, located just outside of Sydney, are one of Australia's most stunning sights. If you're visiting Australia, it would be a shame not to see them. But it's not enough to simply observe the Blue Mountains. This tour provides the opportunity to explore what's beneath and around them as well.
On this tour, which departs from your Sydney CBD accommodation, you will get to trek through the incredible Jenolan caverns, full of stalactites and stalagmites and beautiful, glistening limestone. These dark and dramatic caves are the oldest-known open caves in the world, making them even more special!
Your tour will also include a visit to Scenic World, an amusement park offering all sorts of rides and experiences including the Scenic Railway, Scenic Skyway and Scenic Cablecar, which is the largest cable car in the Southern Hemisphere. You will get the chance to participate in any activities you wish while here. (Please note tickets are at traveller's own expense.)
If you find yourself hungry, stop for a light meal, snack or drink at Trails licensed bistro (food and drink at traveller's own expense) before making your way to Homebush Bay Wharf, where you will board a relaxing river cruise. As you float along the Paramatta River, make sure to soak up the picturesque city views before finishing up your tour at Circular Quay.
