In the event that a booking is cancelled, the following fees will apply:

	Cancellations within 72 hours or less: 50% fee charged for each Climb cancelled. Changes may be made to the Climb date or time for a fee of $100 per booking

Cancellation and Variation for reservations of 15&nbsp;to 200 Participants:

Yes. To participate you must be 8 years and over 1.2 metres tall. Children aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of three children per adult.

When considering whether this activity will be right for your child, we would like you to consider the following:

	<li>Safety is, and always will be, our number one priority for all of our Climbers.</li>
	<li>We will equip kids of this age in smaller BridgeSuits, belts, mittens, or fleeces based on the day&rsquo;s weather conditions.</li>
	<li>Climbing the Bridge is an all-age experience. The stories our Climb Leaders share during the experience is appropriate for a broad age range.</li>
	<li>Children will be required to climb with and next to their parent/guardian.</li>
	<li>To climb the Bridge, children must be 8 years old and 120cm tall to participate.</li>
	<li>Parents/guardians must remain with their children throughout the Climb experience, and must assist BridgeClimb staff by managing their equipment preparation and behaviour.</li>

No. Anyone who can sustain moderate physical exertion up to 3&frac12; hours over 1.75km should find the BridgeClimb. The&nbsp;oldest climber, Mrs Chris Muller, reached the summit at 100 years old.

If you are less than 24 weeks pregnant, you can participate with a signed<a href="https://admin.bridgeclimb.com/getmedia/9322b2fd-6b5e-438f-930f-d4bbf3bcbc1d/Certificate-of-Fitness-2021.pdf" target="_blank"> Certificate of Fitness Form</a> from your GP. We&#39;ll provide you with the form if you if you leave a request for the form in the comment box on the booking form. If you are over 24 weeks pregnant you cannot climb.

Yes. We encourage climbers who wear hearing aids to leave them safely in their lockers to prevent damage or loss while they are on the Bridge. We have a variety of headsets available and many of our hearing impaired climbers have agreed that these allowed them to enjoy the commentary delivered by their Climb Leader.

We also offer Auslan Climbs. On an Auslan Climb you&rsquo;ll be accompanied by an Australian Sign Language interpreter who will interpret the commentary about Sydney and its world famous Bridge. These Climbs occur twice a month.

The conditions vary based on the day&rsquo;s weather. You can expect to possibly:

	<li>climb ladders and walk on catwalks</li>
	<li>participate in prolonged stair climbing</li>
	<li>walk along uneven surfaces and via narrow passageways</li>
	<li>be exposed to all weather conditions</li>

No, unfortunately not. Climbers cannot take loose objects, including cameras, phones or GoPros, on the Bridge. This is to safeguard against anything falling from the Bridge. We provide secure lockers for you to keep your camera or any loose objects in during your Climb. Our photographically-trained Climb Leaders will capture photos of you during your Climb.&nbsp;

Essential medication, like inhalers or diabetic medication, can be taken on the Climb. Please speak to staff on the day.

It is approximately 2 hours 40 minutes.

We equip you in all the outdoor gear you&rsquo;ll need for your Climb based on the day&rsquo;s weather conditions and our health &amp; safety essentials. Please wear comfortable clothing on the day of your Climb in case you need to wear it under your suit for warmth.&nbsp;Please wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes. PVC and leather-soled shoes are not ideal.

Yes. The key to a smooth proposal at the summit is to notify us at the time of your booking. We are experienced at discretely helping many couples become engaged at the top thanks to a special ring safety attachment.&nbsp;

The Journey

Latching on at the climb base below the Bradfield Highway, you will walk below the road-deck until you reach the South-East Pylon. There you will go up four ladders to the start of the upper arch.

With the summit in your sight, your journey continues along the Bridge&rsquo;s upper arch on the Opera House side until you hit the top. After a summit celebration with your group, you will cross to the west-side to make your descent back down to the climb base.
