Uncover the breathtaking views of South Australia’s Barossa Valley on this special full-day trip into the heart of Australia’s wineries. We get off to an earlyish start, with pick up from Adelaide city centre at 9 am. Board our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, sit back, relax and let our friendly and knowledgeable driver guide you on a fascinating journey through the beautiful wineries and old chateaus of the world-famous Barossa Valley region. 
Located 75km north of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley is Australia’s oldest wine producing region, with some varieties of Shiraz grapevine said to have been planted well over 170 years ago! Often seen as Australia’s wine capital, the Barossa Valley is famed for its warm climate and ideal growing conditions, producing world-renowned Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Semillon and Chardonnay. This mouthwatering day trip will take in four of the region’s most famous Cellar Doors, where we will enjoy wine tasting with professional vignerons, with plenty of opportunities to purchase your favourite bottles.
Explore the stunning architectural chateaus of the Barossa Valley, including a stop in at the spectacular Chateau Tanunda, where we tour the majestic house and descend into the wine cellar, learning about the history of wine-making and sampling a varietal of their award-winning wines. Take a break and enjoy a delicious restaurant lunch with fresh local flavours. Southern Australia is as famed for its delicious food as it is for its wine, and this fantastic meal is no exception. Paired with yet another glass of local wine, this Barossa Valley tasting tour is a truly unmissable experience for any wine and food lover! 
This afternoon we delve deeper into the history and culture of the region, learning more about the history and production of wine and experiencing a unique tour through a local vineyard. Enjoy the fascinating insights of our wonderful guide and professional vignerons as we further broaden our knowledge and our palates. We end this amazing day trip with a visit to the ‘Whispering Wall’. Marvel at the unusual acoustics of this beautiful dam and enjoy sweeping panoramas of the Barossa Reservoir and the lush wetlands before we drop you back at your accommodation at approximately 5:30 pm.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations In the event that a booking is cancelled the following fees will apply:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before departure - $10 per person.  
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before departure - 80% of total cost.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of departure or No Show - 100% of total cost.
