The day then starts off at Château Yaldara - home to what is undoubtedly some of the finest shirazes as well as magnificent and well-preserved period architecture.
From here, take a drive through the picturesque vineyards of the Barossa Valley, crossing Jacob’s Creek. The tour then arrives at the historic township of Tanunda where there’s time to wander up the high street and explore the quaint little shops or enjoy a coffee.
As one of the best getaways in Adelaide, the next stop is the renowned Peter Lehmann Winery. There, your group will enjoy an exclusive, structured wine tasting hosted in the beautiful Eight Songs room within their cellar door.
Here, you’ll also be given the opportunity to sample some of the Barossa’s internationally acclaimed vintages and indulge in a delicious lunch. Bring your appetitie, as you'll be treated to a Weighbridge platter of cheeses, olives, the region’s finest meats and assorted vegetables accompanied by freshly baked bread, with vegetarian options also available.
At your final stop of the day, Langmeil Winery, discover Barossa’s cultural beginnings in a place where world-class winemaking can truly be experienced. With a history dating back to 1842, Langmeil Winery is an integral part of Australian wine history.
While here, taste award-winning wines and explore the charm of this passionately restored trading village – and more!
