WHAT TO EXPECT

Barefoot Downunder's Blue Mountains Day Tour is an exciting day out in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Enjoy a small-group guided tour where you get to see wild kangaroo's, hike down to spectacular waterfalls, visit an aboriginal rock engravings sight, learn to play the didgeridoo, see the Three Sisters, watch an Aboriginal cultural show and hear the dream-time stories from your adventure guide.  A free drink at the end of the day with your new friends is included! 

The local, experienced and fun adventure guides will ensure your day in the Blue Mountains is unique, fun and memorable. If you are young at heart and love the outdoors then this adventure trip is for you. 

Tour is a full day and will last around 10 hours.

Please wear hiking boots or closed in shoes and dress appropriate for the weather. Bring a bottle of water and wear sunscreen.

Must have a medium level of fitness, suited to ages 18-49 yrs, available to those aged 15yrs and up.

No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay which includes National Park Fees and all tax.

There are optional activities which are listed in the Blue Mountains Adventure Tour that are paid on the day if you decide to choose any.

We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you do have proof of your reservation accessible on your phone.

Bottle of water, snacks, camera, money for lunch and a sense of fun and adventure!

This depends on empty seats as available space is very limited and we do not tow a trailer, please call Barefoot Downunder to discuss.

All bags that are left in the bus are at the customers discretion and we take no responsibility for break ins and stolen bags.

Sturdy pair of broken-in trail shoes, boots, or sneakers are required as we are bushwalking and hiking in the Blue Mountains National Park.

During the cooler months, dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable. Summer clothes are fine in the hotter months, you can also bring a swimsuit and change before the hike if you choose to cool off under the waterfalls.

Grade 3 – Walk with some hilly sections &/or rougher terrain. Opportunity to walk on defined and distinct tracks with some steep sections requiring a moderate level of fitness. Suitable for fit beginners.

The tour returns around 6pm, however this time may vary due to traffic or other trip factors.

10.5 hours Full day tour that starts after our last pick up location in the morning at 7:30am

We do hike in the rain, snow, wind and any other weather conditions that nature decides to throw at us. After all, we’re going on adventures! If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip will be changed or postponed. You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.

Terms & Conditions:

Barefoot Downunder (BD) reserves the right to change an itinerary and tour at any time without notice due to weather, safety and at company's discretion. BD reserves the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of persons required (6 persons) is not met, if such occurs a full refund will be given or alternate date made.

Medium fitness level required, if you are late throughout the day and miss departure time you will need to make your way back to Sydney at your own expense. Minimum age is 15 years old. Shoes are required on the hike. 


Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds if cancelled 72 hours or less from departure time, no shows, missed tours or cancellations due to extreme weather. Date changes are not permitted within 72 hours from departure date.
