WHAT TO EXPECT

Are you ready for an adventure? Hit all the must-see spots along the Great Ocean Road and discover some of Australia's most beautiful areas. This trip will take you from Melbourne to Adelaide and show you all the highlights in between.

Cruise the Great Ocean Road, visit Bells Beach and Torquay, soak in coastal views at Apollo Bay and Lorne and snap some pics at the Twelve Apostles. Visit local surf towns and seaside villages, discover nature in the Otway Ranges Rainforest and take a wander in the Grampians National Park.

Day 1
Begin the ultimate road trip, cruising towards the Great Ocean Road. Stop to watch surfers in action at famous Bells Beach and Torquay.

You'll also visit the beachside villages of Apollo Bay and Lorne where you can explore and enjoy cruisey coastal vibes.

Later, stop at Kennett River Koalas to see the cuddly creatures in the wild. After making some furry friends, its onto the Great Otway National Park, where you'll enjoy a stunning 1-hour walk. Home to some of the world’s oldest temperate rainforest, this is a beautiful spot to explore.

Finally, end the day at the famed Twelve Apostles! This spectacular collection of limestone stacks is best appreciated at sunset, which is exactly when you'll be visiting.

After a stunning sunset, head to your dorm accommodation for the night.

Day 2
Continue along the Great Ocean Road, stopping at several extraordinary rock formations along the Shipwreck Coast. Check out the Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge.

Enjoy lunch at Tower Hill Reserve, the site of a dormant volcano and discover the lakes and wetlands and emus, koalas, kangaroos, possums, echidnas that call this spot home.

You'll make your way along the coast further, next stop the Grampians National Park. This afternoon you'll have a chance to enjoy some walks here and discover the natural widlife. Just before sunset wallabies, kangaroos and kookaburras come out to play! You'll walk an easy 1 hour to The Balconies, which provides a magnificent viewpoint and photo opportunity of the surrounding ranges and valleys.

Tonight you'll sleep in shared wood cabin accommodation, with the mountains towering around you.

Day 3
Enjoy a more challenging hike this morning, with a trip to The Pinnacle (2 hours). It’s worth the effort for such awe incredible views.

Later, visit the Brambuk Cultural Centre to learn about local Aboriginal history and marvel at the majestic Mount Arapiles, before hitting the highway. You'll arrive into Adelaide at approximately 7.00 pm.
