Kangaroo Island is beautiful all year round, but the best time to visit is during the spring and summer months (September to March) when the weather is warm and the wildlife is most active.
 

While it’s possible to explore some parts of Kangaroo Island in a regular car, a 4WD is recommended for accessing the more rugged and remote areas of the island. If you don’t have a 4WD or don’t feel confident driving one yourself, you can always hop on a guided tour instead! 

To fully experience what Kangaroo Island has to offer, we recommend spending at least 3-4 days on the island. However, if you’re on a tight schedule, there are several day tours to Kangaroo Island that will take you around all the highlights in 12 hours or less!
 

Yes! There are many beautiful beaches around Kangaroo Island where you can enjoy a relaxing swim. Just remember to always check local conditions and read any relevant safety signs before taking a dip.
