The Murray River Highlights tour departs Adelaide and travels to the mighty Murray. On your arrival at the river your will board the MV&nbsp;Proud Mary and relax as you cruise the historic river enjoying the wildlife and surrounding scenery.&nbsp;On this 2-hour cruise, you&#39;ll gain a unique insight into this unique river system with its magnificent landscapes and spectacular cliffs.

&nbsp;

You&#39;ll also enjoy&nbsp;a sumptuous buffet lunch with water, tea and coffee&nbsp;onboard the MV&nbsp;Proud Mary. If you&#39;re keen on a cheeky beer or wine, there&#39;s also a bar onboard where you can purchase additional drinks. While you dine, the journey along the rivers continues, taking in even more of the&nbsp;incredible landscapes of the region.&nbsp;View the stunning orange cliffs, weeping willows and huge red river gums and see pelicans, galahs, cockatoos and cormorants.

Upon disembarking you will take&nbsp;an incredible coach tour along the banks of the Murray River taking in spectacular views, travelling over the water on punts and stopping regularly for great photo opportunities, including the Mannum Lookout.

Once you&#39;ve had your fill of this incredible region, it&#39;s time to travel back to Adelaide. However, the day&#39;s not done yet, as you&#39;ll go via the delightful Adelaide Hills. Stop at Melba&rsquo;s Chocolate Factory where you can purchase afternoon tea,&nbsp;or you may wish to make a shop visit to&nbsp;Woodside Cheese Wrights in Woodside (both at own expense).
