The whole festival is unashamedly about drinking beer whilst dancing around in the traditional Bavarian dress and we think that’s absolutely wonderful!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Oktoberfest is the world’s greatest beer festival and a firm favourite on every traveller’s bucket list! Big beers, German drinking food, dancing bands and carnival rides make the festival one to remember. Get yourself ready for a party like no other - Oktoberfest is going to be golden!
Luckily for you, there's also the added bonus of Stoketoberfest, Stoke's own festival within a festival! The campsite you’re staying in comes equipped with pre-erected tents, a mattress and sleeping bag plus tasty breakfasts and dinners each day. You'll also have access to carnivalesque celebrations, DJs, live bands, live radio shows and an open bar with unlimited beer and sangria for an extra €10 per day!
2.00 pm onwards: Arrive at the campsite and check-in. Your Stoke buddies will be there to welcome you with open arms and ice cold beer.
Get to know the campsite, make some friends, drink some beers and settle into your holiday vibes. Or head straight to the Oktoberfest beer halls, drink delicious Bavarian beer, eat mouth-watering beer hall food and listen to the traditional German Oompah music!
6.00 - 8.00 pm: Dinner is served every night back at the campsite. And then, the massive campsite party begins! The beer and sangria will be flowing and the music will start pumping. Expect live bands, DJs and carnivalesque activities.
10.30 pm: Oktoberfest closes for the night and all those who have lasted the day head back to the campsite to join the party.
8.00 - 10.00 am: Tuck into a hot breakfast to kill that first-day hangover.
9.00 am onwards: Guides are available to direct you to the Springfest beer halls on public transport in the morning.
10.00 am onwards: The party begins! Drink delicious Bavarian beer, eat mouth watering beer hall food, listen to the traditional German Oompah music.
8.00 pm: Dinner is served back at the camp. The party starts with endless the beer and sangria, live bands, DJs and carnivalesque activities.
10.30pm: Oktoberfest closes for the night and all those who have lasted the day head back to campsite to join the party.
8.00 - 10.00 am: Enjoy a hot breakfast before packing up your things.
11.00 am: It's time to check out and say goodbye to all your new stoke besties.
