What to Expect

Described as the 'outback adventure of a lifetime', this three day tour of Uluru and its surrounds combines all the must-see wonders of Australia's red centre, with a moving exploration of the region's rich culture and history.

Spend your nights under the stars in authentic, swag camping, while delicious, wholesome meals will ensure you're fueled for all the adventure set to come your way.

The tour is aimed at the young or the "young at heart" because besides that there is a lot of hiking and sleeping in swags under the stars, our passengers like to have a few beverages around the campfire, listen to music and play games. It is a participation style tour, where guests help with the cooking, cleaning and collection of firewood for the genuine outback experience.

Where we visit:

Day 1: Uluru
Begin your journey at 6am from Alice Springs. After a complimentary pick up from your accommodation, it's time to begin the outback adventure of a lifetime!

Now time to hit the road and travel to Uluru, you'll enjoy lunch overlooking The Rock.

Afterwards, head to the Cultural Centre for an insight into the flora, fauna and the local Aboriginal people of the Red Centre, before your tour guides take you on a short, guided interpretive walk at the base of Uluru.

Then, as night falls, it's time to watch the spectacular Uluru sunset while enjoying a glass of bubbly with nibbles.  Once you've snapped some photos and enjoyed the stunning colours on Uluru, it’s back to camp to enjoy a hearty meal, a hot shower and a night under the stars.

Day 2:  Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon
Enjoy an early breakfast before watching the sunrise over Uluru, then it’s off to Kata Tjuta for a walk through the Valley of the Winds.

After lunch, you'll travel to Kings Creek Station catching views of the beautiful George Gill Range along the way. Here you'll enjoy an outback barbecue dinner and laughs around the campfire.

Later, get into your swags for another perfect view of the stars.

Day 3:  Kings Canyon
Another early start today! After breakfast, take on the spectacular Kings Canyon rim walk.  You'll be wowed by the spectacular views that await.

Visit the north and south walls, The Garden of Eden, as well as the natural amphitheatre.  After this amazing walk, you'll hit the road starting the journey back to Alice Springs.

You'll arrive back in Alice late afternoon.
