WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is located at 1-5 Wheat Road, Darling Harbour, Sydney NSW 2000, right in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. You'll find us on the waterfront, directly adjacent to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Sydney.
Our central location makes it easy to reach by train, light rail, ferry, or on foot.
WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is conveniently located in Darling Harbour, right in the heart of Sydney's CBD. It's easily accessible by various modes of transport:
- By Train:
- Disembark at Wynyard Station or Town Hall Station. From Wynyard, head down King Street; from Town Hall, proceed via Market Street. Both routes lead to Darling Harbour, with a short walk to the zoo.
- By Light Rail:
- Take the L1 light rail and alight at Pyrmont Bay or Convention Centre stations. A brief walk across Pyrmont Bridge will bring you to the zoo.
- By Ferry:
- Board a ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 5 to Darling Harbour Aquarium Wharf. The zoo is just a minute's walk from the wharf.
- By Bus:
- While there isn't a bus stop directly at the zoo, several routes stop nearby. Alight at stops on Sussex Street, Erskine Street, or Clarence Street, then enjoy a short walk to the zoo.
- By Metro:
- The nearest metro station is Barangaroo Station, approximately a 13-minute walk to the zoo.
- By Car:
- WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo doesn't have its own parking facility. However, discounted parking is available at nearby Wilson Parking locations. Pre-book online or via the Wilson Parking App using the promo code MERLIN to access special rates.
