Yes. A premium two course lunch is included and is usually hosted at voco Kirkton Park Hotel or a similar elegant country manor. Local Hunter Valley red and white wines are paired with each course to complement the dishes.

Yes. Non drinkers are welcome. While wine tasting is a key focus, non alcoholic options such as water or soft drinks are available at lunch, and the chocolate and cheese tastings are enjoyable for everyone. The scenery, commentary and relaxed pace also make it a pleasant day out even if you choose not to drink wine.

Most walking is light and at a relaxed pace, such as moving between the coach, cellar doors and tasting rooms, and short strolls around the vineyards or lunch venue. There are no long or steep hikes on this itinerary.

Comfortable clothing, closed in shoes, and a light jacket are recommended, as the valley can be cooler in the morning or late afternoon. Bring a camera, some spending money if you wish to purchase wine or local products, and a good sense of humour.
