Yes. The Shellar Door located at Mooney Mooney is just a short distance off the Pacific Motorway (M1) and a short walk down the road from Mooney Mooney Workers Club. Parking available at the Shellar Door.

Locally and sustainably grown Akoya pearls are amongst the finest quality pearls grown anywhere in the world.

Carefully cultured by pearl farmers over many years, world class Akoya pearls are over 1000 times rarer than diamonds. Not only are these pearls rare, pure and completely stunning to look at, they also happen to be one of the few precious gems on the planet that contain regenerative and restorative qualities for our environment.

This means when you purchase a pearl, you’re not only purchasing one of the rarest and most beautiful gifts of mother nature, you’re also helping to facilitate the restoration of our pristine Australian waterway

Established in 2003, Broken Bay is NSW’s only pearl farm. After nearly two decades of culturing pearls on NSW’s Central Coast, they offer extraordinary pearling experiences and invite you to immerse yourself in this truly remarkable story.

In 2017, after a decade of successfully growing Akoya pearl oysters quietly on the Central Coast, Broken Bay Pearl Farm founders Ian and Rose Crisp began an exciting partnership with James Brown (pictured right) and his team from the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm (Broome, Western Australia). From this, Pearls of Australia was born.
