Why do we love this

We love this tour because it explores Sydney's highlights from the water. Sydney is a great place to boat around and this tour gives you a taste of the water action!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Discover Sydney's best-kept secrets, cruise past landmarks like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House and take a stroll at the most idyllic, uninhabited beach, home to a resident colony of penguins! Sydney is built on the world’s largest natural harbour, and during this 3-hour experience, you’ll discover what makes this vibrant and modern harbour tick.

Travel in style aboard a newly refurbished open-side boat that gives you great views as you cruise. With an enclosed toilet, shading, Wi-fi and phone chargers onboard, this is the perfect vessel to enjoy a relaxed day on. You'll see the best spots in Sydney Harbour safely and comfortably.

Itinerary

The morning tour runs from 9.45am to 1.00 pm.  The afternoon tour runs from 1.00 pm to 4.15pm.

You’ll see all the iconic harbour sights, learn about the city's colourful history and culture and see the waterfront mansions of the ‘rich and famous’ as you cruise in style.

Visit Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, Sydney 'foreshore playground' and cruise past the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. You'll also catch glimpses of Garden Island Naval Base, Fort Denison and Kirribilli House as you travel, and don't forget the impressive Point Piper waterfront mansions.

Later, discover Rose Bay, Double Bay, Shark Island and Camp Cove.

You also visit the idyllic Store Beach, a stunning national park with some great views.

Next, head to Quarantine Station, a colonial settlement with a museum and cafe where you'll enjoy afternoon/morning tea.

Then, finish the day with a trip to Watsons Bay and The Gap. This is one of Sydney’s most picturesque harbourside villages, with incredible views of the city skyline and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a short guided walk here to the Pacific Ocean cliffs.

Throughout your day you'll be accompanied by local guide and skipper who will tell stories and facts about each spot you pass. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife too! You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a resident penguin, seal or dolphin.

This is a 3-hour tour, departing morning and afternoon. 9.45am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 4.15pm. For all ticketed tours, meet you at Convention Wharf, Darling Harbour. Darling Harbour Convention Wharf is located in front of the Harbourside Shopping Centre.

All our boats have some protection from the elements, however, they are designed for open viewing and are best experienced in relatively dry and mild weather conditions. If it’s forecast for heavy, consistent rain or very strong winds we may cancel the tour and customers are entitled to credit with us or a full refund. However, it rarely rains for a sustained period of time in Sydney, so if it is forecast for some sporadic rain, we will likely go ahead with the tour.

Unfortunately, our boats are not wheelchair accessible. Both of our boats have ample room for moving about the deck.

Both our boats have onboard toilet facilities. However we are never in the boat for more than 45 minutes at a time.

No. Smoking is prohibited on board the boat.

No, it is not permitted to bring a baby. All children must be able to take a seat due to safety requirements and remain seated on the boat for up to 45 minutes. We do have child lifejackets available.

The boat is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues because we have 3 beach stops and toilet facilities are for emergencies only. However, we have had guests in their 80s who are relatively fit and mobile who have had hugely enjoyable experiences. So age is not a barrier, just attitude and mobility.

We recommend all guests bring sun protection, but also a jacket because it can get a bit chilly on the water, even in summer. Casual shoes or sandals are best because we land on islands and beaches.
