Our intro lesson is land-based, on the beach where you’ll develop solid kite skills at the helm alongside one of our friendly instructors. Using a small trainer kite, we’ll get you practicing a range of techniques and skills to kickstart your addiction!

Using a small trainer kite, we’ll get you practicing a range of techniques and skills to kickstart your addiction! Like learning to drive, you won’t be zooming down the motorway on your first lesson! 80% of kiteboarding is about kite control, so this ‘taster session is designed to give you the initial building blocks needed to master this sport in a fun, progressive, and easy-going way.

Our intro lesson is land-based, on the beach where you’ll develop solid kite skills at the helm alongside one of our friendly instructors. We’ll also teach you some fundamentals about the wind and wind window (the area of the sky where the kite is able to fly), as well as the power zones and kite safety.

Using a small trainer kite, we’ll get you practicing a range of techniques and skills to kickstart your addiction, like:

• self-launching
• safety and de-power systems
• wind window awareness
• parking the kite
• how to make power strokes
• flying in straight lines
• kite loops and handle passes

After the session, you can decide if you think this sport might be for you and if you’d like to take some additional lessons. If you’re get hooked just like many people do, check out our range of kiteboarding lessons.
