The tour operates from Cairns, with the reef tour checking in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street, Cairns. The rainforest tour offers pickups from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas and returns to these areas. The nearest airport to the Cairns departure point is Cairns Airport.

It is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation — visa requirements will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going.

For the rainforest tour, bring a hat, sunscreen, camera, phone, water bottle, towel and swimming costume if you plan to swim, insect repellent, extra cash or a credit card, and a raincoat or umbrella during the rainy season from December to March. For the reef cruise, bring swimmers, a change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, towel and cash or a credit card for additional drinks and snacks.

No accommodation is included in this two-day package.

The rainforest tour requires guests to manage walking steps independently or with their own carer. Due to limited space, wheelchairs must be small, compact and collapsible and must be checked and confirmed with reservations at least 48 hours before the tour. Staff cannot provide lifting or physical assistance. Reef cruise accessibility depends on weather and sea conditions, so guests requiring special consideration should contact reservations to discuss their needs.

Guests planning to snorkel must be able to swim. Scuba diving can be strenuous under certain conditions, and the supplier states that respiratory and circulatory systems and all body spaces must be normal and healthy for scuba diving.

Yes. The two tours do not need to be booked on consecutive days. During checkout, you select your reef tour date first and then choose your rainforest tour date.

Check-in is from 7.15am to 7.45am at the Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street, Cairns. Evolution departs at 8.00am and returns at approximately 4.30pm.

Cairns City accommodation pickups are approximately 7.00–7.15am with returns around 6.30pm. Northern Beaches pickups are approximately 7.20–7.45am with returns around 6.00pm. Port Douglas pickup is approximately 8.20am with returns around 4.00–4.30pm. Times are approximate.

Yes. Dietary requirements should be advised at the time of reservation or at least 48 hours before travel. The tour operator caters for most dietary requirements on both tours.
