You'll begin with a Muntha (Welcome to Country), followed by Aboriginal storytelling, traditional sand drawings, songs and dancing. Your guides will also share knowledge about bush tucker, bush medicine and the stories of Country.
During the walks, you'll discover local bush botanicals, learn about bush foods and traditional medicine, and hear stories connected to the land and its custodians.
The itinerary may change at short notice because of weather, fire, terrain, National Park closures or other unforeseen circumstances. Park access and operating dates also depend on road conditions.
The usual operating season is 1 May to 30 September, subject to National Park opening dates and road conditions. Tours may begin in late April if conditions allow.
You can reach the meeting point in a 2WD or AWD vehicle, and parking is available. From there, the tour operator provides 4WD transport into the Bungle Bungles.
Assistance is provided where possible. Please advise the tour operator of any assistance required when booking. Staff are not permitted to lift passengers.
