This tour is suitable for children aged 8 years and over. A moderate level of fitness is required, with short hikes and swims of up to approximately 4 km per day, sometimes over rocky or uneven terrain. Guests also participate in simple tasks such as setting up camp, meal preparation and tidying up.

Strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance. It recommends cover for personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, with a recommended minimum coverage of AUD $300,000 for each category. Cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects are also recommended. Travel insurance is not included in the tour and is the traveller's responsibility to arrange.

The luggage limit is 10kg in a soft bag, plus a carry-on day pack. Hard cases are not permitted. Requests to bring luggage exceeding the luggage policy or additional items on the tour vehicle must be raised with the reservations team in advance.

You will spend three nights in twin-share permanent eco tents. Each tent has a bed, mattress, pillow, sleeping bag and bottom sheet. The camps have shared bathroom facilities with flushing toilets and hot showers, as well as screened kitchen and dining areas. Limited power is available in the shared kitchen, bathroom and dining areas.

Remote regions where medical facilities are limited and difficult to access. Guests with medical conditions or taking any medication must provide the tour operator with full details and the nature of the condition. Passengers should also ensure they are suitably fit to participate in the tour's activities.

Yes. Special meal requirements and food allergies must be advised at least 72 hours before the trip commences. The tour operator can cater for no pork, no dairy, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and coeliac requirements. Special requirements cannot be accommodated after departure because food is purchased before the trip.

Mobile coverage will be intermittent because the tour travels through remote outback locations. Guides carry satellite phones for emergencies only.

There is limited access to power in the shared kitchen, bathroom and dining areas. The supplier recommends bringing a power bank.

The camps have shared bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers, plus screened kitchen and dining areas for meals and relaxation. The permanent eco tents also provide beds and basic sleeping equipment.
