Your&nbsp;full-day Chillagoe Outback adventure&nbsp;begins with pickup from your Cairns accommodation between approximately 6:45am and 7am before travelling west through changing landscapes towards the Australian Outback

Enjoy&nbsp;morning tea at Skybury Coffee Plantation&nbsp;overlooking the outback scenery, then continue towards Chillagoe and the&nbsp;Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park&nbsp;for a ranger-guided tour through ancient limestone caves, where you&rsquo;ll see rock formations, underground chambers and geological features formed over millions of years

Continue exploring the region&rsquo;s history with visits to the&nbsp;Chillagoe Smelter Ruins, followed by an&nbsp;authentic Aussie pub lunch at Chillagoe Hotel. You&rsquo;ll also stop at&nbsp;Balancing Rock&nbsp;for photos and visit culturally significant&nbsp;Aboriginal rock art sites, where you&rsquo;ll learn about local Indigenous history and Dreamtime stories

The adventure continues to&nbsp;Granite Gorge Nature Park, where you may spot rock wallabies and other native wildlife. After exploring the Outback and its historic communities, return to Cairns with an approximate arrival between 6:30pm and 7pm

The cave experience involves&nbsp;stairs, uneven ground and some confined spaces, with approximately an hour spent walking through the cave system at a slow pace. Closed-in shoes are required for the cave tour, and the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking disabilities
