The trip starts and finishes at Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach. Check-in is online and you must be at the marina meeting point 30 minutes before departure. Your boarding pass will provide the meeting location and marina instructions.

The tour is suitable for families with children aged 6 years and over, couples, groups of friends and solo travellers. Passengers must be able to exit the vessel unassisted in an emergency, including using a 1.5-metre ladder without assistance.

Bring a beach towel, bathing suit, sunhat, practical clothing, suitable footwear, sunscreen (minimum SPF 30+), and a camera. Items must be packed in a small soft bag with no wheels. BYO drinks are permitted on non-licensed vessels, but glass bottles are not allowed.

Your luggage for the boat must fit into a small soft bag with no wheels. Extra luggage can be stored at The Travel Shop at 344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, for $10 per person for the duration of your trip.

Check-in is completed online. A few days before departure, you'll receive a check-in reminder email with a link to complete the process. Check-in must be completed at least the day before departure. After completing check-in, you'll receive your boarding pass with marina instructions, meeting time and location.

BYO drinks are permitted on non-licensed vessels, but glass bottles are not allowed. You should avoid excessive drinking, as impaired judgement and balance can be particularly dangerous on the water. The tour operator recommends a maximum of 20 beers or 25 standard drinks. Alcohol must be purchased from bottle shops in Airlie Beach town centre before arriving at the marina.

A council car park is available at the South end of Coral Sea Marina, where you can leave your vehicle for the duration of your trip for a daily charge. The car park is not affiliated with the tour operator.

None of the vessels are wheelchair accessible. For safety, passengers must be able to exit the vessel unassisted in an emergency, including using a 1.5-metre ladder into the tender vessel or saloon area. If you have accessibility concerns, speak with the tour operator's reservations team before booking.

Snorkelling equipment including a mask, snorkel and wetsuit/stinger suit is provided. Fins are only available on limited vessels, and you should contact the reservations team if you wish to bring your own. Certified diving is also available on Whitsunday Adventurer as an optional extra.

Certified diving costs $120 for the first dive, $100 for the second dive and $70 for each additional dive. All diving equipment is included. Prices are payable directly on the vessel by cash or card and may change without notice.

Divers must hold an SSI Open Water certification or an equivalent certification from a recognised organisation, or higher. Dives must be booked by email or phone before departure, although additional dives may also be booked onboard.

Yes. A minimum of 4 divers per boat is required for diving to operate. If minimum numbers are not reached, the tour operator will contact you as soon as possible.

Yes, but you must advise the tour operator when booking and again at check-in if you have dietary requirements, medical conditions or food allergies. Some dietary requirements, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options, may incur a surcharge payable at check-in.
