Make your way to spectacular islands with stunning white sand beaches, trek some of the Mount Jeffries walking track and enjoy sweeping panoramas across the breathtaking Whitsunday and Hamilton Islands on this incredible full-day adventure. For beginners to experts alike, this amazing sea-kayaking trip truly is the perfect way to get off the beaten track and experience a different side to the beautiful Whitsundays!
We get our epic day of adventuring off to an early start, with 8:30am pick up from the beautiful Airlie Beach before driving about 10km to our jump-off point at Shute Harbour. After a safety briefing, let our experienced guide will lead the way as we kayak through the inner harbour islands and cross over to the beautiful White Rock. Dive into the crystal clear waters and snorkel over colourful coral reefs that teem with life.
After a nice relaxing swim, we get back in our kayaks and paddle across the Molle Passage to the stunning Sandy Bay at South Molle Island. The waters around here are home to beautiful tropical fish, giant sea eagles and the occasional Humpback whale! Enjoy a relaxing paddle as you keep an eye on the skies for soaring sea eagles and scan the ocean for schools of dolphins as they leap out of the in unison. There is nothing more liberating than kayaking through beautiful turquoise water surrounded by nature, and this full-day active tour truly is the perfect way to experience the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands.
When we finally reach South Molle Island we have time to take in the highlights of this lush tropical paradise. Kick back and relax on the white sandy beach, enjoy a break and top up your tan; snorkel through a spectacular coral reef and experience another breathtaking underwater world, or, if you’re feeling especially active, there is even the opportunity to hike across the island! Following the Mount Jeffries walking track, we’ll discover ancient ‘grass trees’ and hundreds of butterflies, as well as the chance to take in truly incredible sweeping vistas stretching across the Whitsundays from Whitsunday Island and Hamilton Island to the lush Conway State Forest and picture-perfect aerial views of Sandy Bay and Shute Harbour.
After a morning of adventuring through the Whitsundays, we head back to the beach and enjoy a delicious lunch spread on the beach, taking time to relax in the sun and enjoying the beauty of our surroundings. This afternoon we climb back into our kayaks and do some more exploring of this breathtaking island chain before we head back to Airlie Beach at around 4:15pm.
