WHAT TO EXPECT
On this half or full-day fishing excursion, you will get to witness the beauty of the Whitsundays in Queensland while trying your luck at catching a big fish. It doesn't matter whether you're an advanced fisher or just a beginner. Your knowledgeable guides will provide all the tools and advice that you need to make you comfortable behind the fishing rod.
If participating in the full-day option, your tour will begin with an early-morning departure from Airlie Beach at 8 am. If you're opting for the half-day tour, you will have the choice to depart at either 8 am or 1 pm. You will hit the water in a Stryker boat equipped with all you need for your fishing session.
From bait and tackle to rods and reels, your guide will provide it all. You will spend some of your time trolling from location to location to target Spanish mackerel or tuna. However, you will mainly be reef and bottom bashing to catch fish such as coral trout, sweet lip, red emperor and much more.
If you're on the full-day tour, you will get to enjoy a midday lunch of sandwiches and snacks. If you would like to bring alcohol on-board, that is totally fine as long as you supply it yourself and please drink responsibly.
Complimentary accommodation pickup and drop-off is available on this tour. If you would prefer to meet at the dock, plan to arrive at the Abell Point Marina North Village at Wharf B1 (next to Shingley Drive) 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
