	Force Majeure for the purposes of this Agreement will be defined narrowly to only include acts of terrorism, civil disorder, earthquake, epidemics, fire, flood, labour disputes, lockouts, natural disaster, an outbreak of disease, or any travel bans or restrictions (including blocks on non-essential travel) issued by the World Health Organisation or any governmental authority, quarantine restrictions, riot, strikes, war.

As you embark on a scenic drive through a local village, you&#39;ll find yourself at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, a place nestled in the heart of the jungle. Here, ponds, sprawling fields, and lush hillsides create a haven for these magnificent creatures. The sanctuary is pioneering ethical elephant tourism on the island, and rescue sick, injured and old elephants who have spent their entire lives working in the logging and tourism industries. Endorsed by National Geographic and World Animal Protection, Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is a final home where rescued elephants have the freedom to roam, bathe, forage and socialise freely.

Your tour starts at the Tree Top Reception and Observation Platform, where an engaging presentation and educational video set the stage for your encounter with the elephants. This introduction is essential to help you understand why these gentle giants need protection and care.

The next part of your adventure is especially heartwarming. You&#39;ll have the opportunity to feed the elephants, watching as they savour baskets filled with bananas, pineapples, and cucumbers. While they enjoy their meal, our knowledgeable guides will share the unique background and stories of each elephant, giving you a deeper appreciation for their individual personalities.

After the elephants have had their fill, you&#39;ll embark on a walk with them into the jungle. From the safety of observation salas, you&#39;ll maintain a respectful distance, allowing the elephants the freedom to express their natural behaviours. This might include bathing, playing in the pond, or socialising with each other.

&nbsp;

It&#39;s essential to note that the well-being of the elephants is the top priority here. The sanctuary is committed to their care and protection, and as a result, they do not offer rides, shows, bathing, touching, or any activities that could cause distress to the elephants. Instead, the focus is on observing these incredible animals in their natural habitat.
