What to Expect

Join this tour and have the opportunity to visit the famous Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA) of Thailand. This is the military academy of the Royal Thai Army. Established in 1887, it has graduated the vast majority of Thailand's military leaders, many of whom have become Thai Prime Ministers. The academy has an extremely intense training program. There are about 200 cadets for each year. At the end of their fourth year, cadets graduate with a bachelor's degree in their chosen fields of study, and are commissioned as Second Lieutenants to the Royal Thai Army.

Why is this tour special? You will be led by a cadet himself! Panuwat is a cadet who desires to travel all around the world and meet new people. In the meantime, he meets travelers and shows them around the area he has come to know best -- the CRMA. He loves any opportunity to speak and improve his English as well. This trip will show you how the Thai Army was born by traveling with a current cadet. You will get to do a lot of military activities! As a visitor, you can tour the academy’s shooting range, paddle canoes, ride a rescue sledge in the nearby reservoir, and even enjoy an 18-hole golf course. Group activities include treks, camping, and rock-climbing sessions on both natural and man-made cliffs. Panuwat will lead the way and is a flexible guide - if you have interest in seeing a waterfall over going to the shooting range, just let him know. He is happy to customize this tour for you -- sign up today!
