What to Expect
Enjoy a fun ride on the notorious three-wheelers of Thailand with your guide, Chantima! She loves traveling and assures you’ll have a fun and awesome trip with her. You will experience all kinds of major public transportation in Bangkok in the course of this 8 hour tour; Tuk Tuk, boat and the BTS Skytrain. See Bangkok’s old town and experience the Chinatown night vibe!
Still curious about the tuk tuk itself? Why would you want to travel in one of these? Well, it happens to be a very common form of urban transport, both as a vehicle for hire and for private use, in many countries around the world, especially those with tropical or subtropical climates, including many developing countries. It is particularly popular where traffic congestion is a major problem, such as Bangkok! Drivers also use their tuk tuks to transport fresh produce or other goods around the city in absence of passengers.
Bangkok and other cities in Thailand have many, many tuk tuks; Bangkok alone is reported to have over 9,000 tuk tuks! With so many tuk tuks in one city, you can’t spend time here without riding in one! You’ll take a tuk tuk to the Grand Palace on this tour. The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782.
From there, you’ll enjoy a boat ride along the famous Chao Phraya River to Chinatown where you’ll eat some delicious food.
