Your wild rides starts&nbsp;with a high-speed&nbsp;trip across&nbsp;picturesque Lake Te Anau where you&#39;ll be surrounded by majestic mountains and ancient forests. This is a seriously magical place that&#39;s steeped in Maori history.&nbsp;Legend has it that Rakaihautu, a legendary Maori leader, named the great lakes while exploring the South Island. 
 
As you travel, marvel at the Murchison Mountains, which rise a staggering 1,400 metres above the lake surface. 
 
Next,&nbsp; skim across the&nbsp;water&nbsp;towards Dock Bay. This is where you&#39;ll catch a breathtaking glimpse into the Fiordland&nbsp;National Park. Look across at the ancient beech forests that surround Lake Te Anau, unchanged for 80 million years and savour the moment - you don&#39;t see views like this&nbsp;every day!

Please note Fiordland is an alpine area and subject to extreme weather. On the rare occasion adverse weather road, river or lake conditions may require us to make alterations to or cancel trips. Fiordland Jet Ltd manages the hazards of our guided jet boat trips. Clients must follow the instructions of the driver/guide and parents must ensure their minors do the same. Clients must advise their guide on the day if they have any physical conditions that may affect their enjoyment of the excursion. The river/guide reserves the right to curtail the trip at any time if they believe the safety, or the safety of others may be compromised. By participating in Fiordland Jet Ltd excursions clients agree to the above terms.
