Day 1: Mexico City
Your tour will begin in Mexico City, the largest city in Latin America where ancient and contemporary culture coexist in harmony. The city is a vibrant cultural hub that offers a huge variety of museums, galleries, and architectural gems, along with thriving nightlife and dining scenes. Feel free to arrive at any time before meeting your group and trip leader at your hotel at 2 pm. After a short welcome meeting, you will go for a walking tour in the historic city centre, followed by a guided visit to the National Anthropology Museum. In the evening join, an optional dinner and get-together in one of the local restaurants/bars.

Day 2: Mexico City - Lagunas de Zempoala National Park - Tepotztlán - Cuernavaca
Wake up and eat breakfast, then head to Lagunas de Zempoala National Park - a hidden natural gem where you can hike around its seven lagoons surrounded by picturesque hills and pine forests. Other possible activities include rock climbing, horseback riding, exploring its numerous ecological paths or renting a boat for a pleasure ride around the lakes.
After an easy but picturesque hike around the lakes, enjoy some free time and optional lunch of local specialties. Then, we will head to Tepotztlán. Located at the foot of Tepozteco Mountain, this "Magic Town" offers an abundance of unique ancient traditions and cultural expressions including esotericism, pre-Hispanic and vice-regal treasures, the counterculture, ecotourism or the simplicity of its everyday life. After an easy climb to Tepozteco Mountain with an impressive Prehispanic temple at its top, we will take a walking tour around the historic centre, visiting the town's impressive Dominican church, the adjoining monastery, and traditional market.
In the late afternoon, we will move on to Cuernavaca.Known as "the city of eternal spring", this capital of the state is flanked by imposing hills and is festive all year round. After a walking tour in the historic centre, you will visit the nearby 40-meter high San Anton Waterfall, check-in at our accommodation and rest before going out for an optional dinner and get-together in the centre of this young and bustling city.

Day 3: Cuernavaca - Xochicalco - Las Estacas Parque Natural - Tlayacapan
In the morning after breakfast, we will head to Xochicalco Archaeological Zone - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the 4th most visited pre-hispanic site in Mexico. After a tour around the pyramids, we will continue to Las Estacas Parque Natural, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Morelos. After spending the rest of the day in the park (snorkelling, exploring, swimming, games, etc.) we will go to a "Magic Town" of Tlayacapan. Being there is like stopping time. Enjoying a break in your life as you observe the majesty of perfectly carved murals in the Former Convent of San Juan Bautista, with walls that seem to form a celestial vault to guard the recently discovered mummies. After an evening walking tour, opt to join a farewell dinner and get-together in one of the local restaurants/bars.
