WHAT TO EXPECT
Are you familiar with Kanji? It's Chinese characters adopted by the Japanese writing system. On this tour, you'll learn the basic writing of Kanji. The tour will teach you the brushwork using calligraphy utensils and Japanese writing paper.
The tour will begin with a brief intro and history of Kanji. Then you'll practice basic brushwork. Choose your favourite word and an instructor will help you write out the characters! Sign your new artwork and take it back home with you as a souvenir from Asakusa!
