Itinerary
Explore another side of Western Australia on this half-day kayaking tour from Perth. Check out the stunning wildlife and incredible surroundings of the Canning River Regional Park as we paddle along the tranquil river, enjoying a 3 hour morning or afternoon tour of this hidden paradise.
Our half-day tours run every weekend, departing at 9am or 1pm, and lasting for about 3 hours. Make your own way out to the Garrat Road Bridge Park (near ANA Rowing Club), where you meet up our incredible local guides and go through a quick safety rundown before we take to the water on our double kayaks.
It's hard to believe this nature retreat is located just 15 minutes away from Perth’s bustling city centre. Paddle across tranquil waters and past paperbark trees as our friendly guides point out an array of interesting wildlife and share fascinating stories about the history of the local area and the importance of this amazing park. Scan the beautiful riverbank for birds of prey including, herons, egrets and cormorants, as well as a whole host of other incredible birds and animals.
Take a break on a secluded riverbank and enjoy a healthy snack as we soak up surroundings and immerse ourselves in the sounds and sights of this delightful riverside retreat. Before our incredible kayaking tour comes to an end and we make our own way back to the heart of Perth’s cosmopolitan centre.

Dress for the weather and assume you will get a bit wet from the paddles. Bring something to drink, and there will be time for a snack also if you want to bring something to eat.

Meet us at Garrat Road Bridge Park (near ANA Rowing Club – see map below). The tour ends at the same point after approximately 3 hours.
Time
Please be clear about which start time you have booked for
Morning sessions: 9am- 1pm
Afternoon sessions: 1pm- 4pm
The supplier reserves the right to cancel or postpone trips if there are insufficient bookings. In this case, you will receive a full refund, or we will offer a suitable alternative trip.
The supplier recommends you have travel insurance to protect you if unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel your trip, and cover personal belongings taken on trips. Note that your own belongings taken on a trip are taken at your own risk and not covered by the supplier's insurance.
