Day 1: Darwin to Nitmiluk National Park Rise and shine early in the morning as the tour commences at 06:00 from Darwin towards Alice Springs while you take the first stop at Nitmiluk National Park. This Jawoyn Aboriginal owned place is truly a beauty to be witnessed. Marvel at the carved sandstones before the option of taking a boat cruise or paddle a canoe and enter the water at your own cost. Enjoy lunch and marvel at the beautiful nature all around. Reach the campsite by evening and have a yummy dinner with fellow travelers and rest for the night. Day 2: Nitmiluk National Park to Banka Banka Cattle Station Have a yummy quick breakfast and head straight to soak you in the thermal pools of Mataranka that actually is an oasis. Visit Daly Waters Pub that is a famous watering hole. Grab a beer, enjoy a bit of history and a fair dinkum outback experience. Your day winds down at historic Banka Banka Cattle Station where you camp for the night. Day 3: Banka Banka to Alice Springs Wake up early and begin your journey from Banka Banka Cattle Station after breakfast as you pass through Tennant Creek. And then further along witness the Devils Marbles at Karlu Karlu while you have lunch en route before reaching Alice Springs with loads of memories to cherish from the trip.

What to bring: A torch, a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a water bottle (1.5 liters), walking shoes or boots, sleeping bag (or can be hired for AUD30), toiletries, swim wear, a towel and a camera. What to were: Comfortable and casual clothing. Conditions: Itinerary may change due to cultural reasons, seasonal changes, operational logistics and accessibility. Safari is not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Please call our Reservations Team (1300 551 510) at least 48 hours prior to departure to confirm pick-up location and time. Due to limited space on the vehicle, please restrict luggage to a day pack and one soft overnight bag/backpack (maximum 10kg). Insurance: Because of the remote places that we visit, unpredictable weather, long travel times and the adventurous nature of our safaris, it is not possible to guarantee exact pick-up and drop-off times. Because of this, Wayoutback Australian Safaris strongly recommend that all travellers take out Travel Insurance. Not only does it protect you against the costs of injury but it also gives you Cancellation Cover. You wouldn't want to lose the money you've already spent because for some reason you can't make your Wayoutback tour or, you're unable to make a connection with a flight or other tour after Wayoutback. Travel Insurance is compulsory for all travelers. This clause is included as a duty of care to protect our travelers and all levels of the travel distribution chain, but excludes those nationals of countries where local law prohibits a compulsory service that is not included in the tour price. Whilst Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for these nationals, we will not apply these booking conditions where law prohibits it. However, all travelers will be expected to sign a waiver before commencing their tour acknowledging that they are aware of the increased risks associated with Adventure Travel and that they understand that Wayoutback will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, delay, accident or injury sustained whilst on tour with us.
