Visiting the park with a wheelchair? No worries! There are two convenient car parks near the Reception, and most of the park is wheelchair accessible with level pathways. However, please note that the pathways to Gondwana Gateway and Cassowary Walk can be moderately steep, and assistance may be required.

Wheelchairs are available free of charge from Admissions, but it's best to contact The Operator before your visit to book one in advance. They are happy to assist visitors with assistance or guide dogs, but kindly request that you contact them beforehand to discuss possible animal welfare issues and make mutually appropriate arrangements.

It's important to be aware that some of the animals in the park may view your dog as 'prey' or a 'predator'. For instance, large crocodiles may try to attack your dog through the fence, while wallabies and cassowaries may panic and possibly cause injury to themselves. However, assistance and guide dogs are welcome in the Restaurant, on the boat cruise, on the Crocodile Farm Tour, and on selected wildlife displays.

If you need additional assistance or have concerns about accessing areas with sensitive or potentially aggressive animals, the staff can provide a Wildlife Keeper to help you.
