It's a great way to see the stunning Whitsundays in comfort with a fun and adventerous crew!"
WHAT TO EXPECT
Spend two days sailing the Whitsundays in utmost comfort aboard the Atlantic Clipper. Complete with daily snorkel and dive trips, a sprawling deck for sunbathing and nighttime fun with the crew, this trip gives you the ultimate island and reef experience.
Day 1
Your first day onboard begins with a relaxed cruise across Whitsunday Passage and past the Molle Islands. You'll head along the coast of Hook Island to Hook Passage, which is sandwiched between the two largest Whitsundays Islands.
Once you reach your overnight anchorage spot, there'll be plenty of time to dive into the clear water for a swim and enjoy the afternoon on the sun-kissed deck. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the onboard 8-meter waterslide or the 6-metre dive board!
Come twilight, sit back in the hot tub and watch the sunset over pristine water and islands. For dinner, enjoy a delicious steamed fish and a few evening drinks on the top deck. You might even be lucky enough to see some dolphins frolicking under the boats two huge 'fish spotlights'. Sometimes, fish, turtles and even reef sharks join in the show! Watch them chase the night away and relax with a few board games and friendly chats with the crew.
Day 2
It’s a bright and early start this morning! Wake up at 6.30am for a full continental breakfast before arriving at Whitehaven just before 8 am. You'll take a trip to a famous lookout - the 4th most photographed place in Australia - and enjoy decadent views of the swirling hill inlets on Whitehaven Beach. From here, continue on to Whitehaven sand where you'll have the chance to explore the pristine sand and play some beach games!
Return to the boat for lunch, then it's time to set sail to your dive and snorkel destination! This spot is an underwater paradise, and whether you're snorkelling or scuba diving this reef world lights up before your eyes. It's among the richest marine habitats in the world and the oldest ecosystem on Earth, not to mention one of the most beautiful and colourful places you've ever seen.
Once you've finished exploring the beautiful reef, it’s time for a hot shower then afternoon snacks and a cold beverage while you enjoy a sunset sail to your anchorage point for the night. Stop off on Langford Island for a final peek at the setting sun.
After dinner, it's time for a reef party! For the last night of every tour, the crew put on what they call 'the show', an evening full of funky tunes, dancing, singing and games. Fancy dress, disco and strobe lights and some awesome activities will make your final night on the reef one to remember!
Day 3
The final day starts with a singing wake-up call from the crew at 6.30am. Then it’s time for a full continental breakfast before scuba diving and snorkel operations commence at 7.30am.
After you say your final goodbyes to the coral reef, it's time for some more water sliding and diving board action. You'll arrive back at Airlie Beach around 12 pm after a sail through the reef and its islands. And don't forget the thrill ride across the Whitsunday passage! This stretch of water is lots of fun aboard the Clipper with its massive sails and will have you disembarking with a smile.
This tour is a 3 day, 2-night trip, starting on Day 1 at 2.30pm and finishing on Day 3 at approximately 12 pm.
