Want to treat yourself in Fiji? This boutique cruise is ideal for travelers who want to explore the stunning islands in comfort. You'll be treated to a tasty morning, afternoon tea and lunch as you travel, so kick back and relax. With all equipment, from kayaks to snorkels provided, you can be sure it'll be a day jam-packed with fun.
Pickups from Denarau, Nadi, Vuda and Coral Coast areas are available. If you're making your own way to the port, meet at Denarau Marina for a leisurely departure at 10.00am. This way, you'll avoid the rush of other day cruise departures. Board the M.V. Oolala and head over tranquil waters to the exquisite private Savala Island.
Off you go! Your journey will take about an hour and a half, and you'll be well entertained, with staff providing an exciting insight into Fiji’s lifestyle and handicraft skills.
It's time to enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, and handmade cakes. Home-made banana cake and fresh scones are on the menu! As you travel to Savala Island, your guides will show you points of interest around the waters and surrounding islands.
Make your first stop off Savala Island for some snorkeling! Trained staff will accompany you on an expedition into the pristine waters, pointing out the myriad species of fish and brilliant corals on display. All levels are welcome, staff will give extra consideration to children and novice snorkellers. If snorkeling isn't your thing, you are able to the island to enjoy other activities.
You'll have worked up an appetite by now, so sit down to enjoy a BBQ lunch, served in the main bure (shade hut) on the island. As you eat, watch some live entertainment and a coconut demonstration. During this fascinating demonstration, the resident storyteller explains the coconuts many uses in everyday life on the island. They'll teach you how to best enjoy coconut milk and flesh and how to weave the leaves into mats, baskets, and hats.
This is also a great chance to take in the spectacular island, and the variety of birds and unique marine life that surrounds you.
After filling your belly, it's time for the activities to resume. Take part in baby shark viewing and fish feeding or enjoy a ride on a glass bottom boat. Now is also the time to try out kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or more snorkeling if you fancy. If you just want to soak up the island vibes, you can also simply relax on the beach in bean bags or under bures.
3.00pm - 3.30pm
It's time to cruise back to Port Denarau. At 3.30pm, enjoy afternoon tea with coffee and drinks provided.
You'll arrive back at the Denarau Marina where you'll be farewelled by staff. Complimentary transfers to Coral Coast, Nadi and Denarau hotels are included.
