The Canopy Adventure is a thrilling journey over the treetops! Located on the skirts of the Barva Volcano, this 5-hour&nbsp;Canopy Adventure of San Jos&eacute; de la Monta&ntilde;a has more than 700 forest hectares, of which 350 are of primary forest that you will discover. It is all just 45 minutes away from San Jose! This adventure consists of eleven platforms, ten of them located on oak trees that are 200 and 400 years old. The eleventh platform is on a cypress tree, which is very common in this area. Feel one with nature as you slide down from each platform.

 
During the tour, you will also walk through the hollow trunk of a Ficus tree. These trails will conduct you through the different platforms while you will enjoy the surrounding forest.

Gray Line Shuttle and Airport Shuttle: Cancellations within 24 hours prior to departure will be considered a &quot;no-show;&quot; therefore, no refunds will be made. Transfers are based upon scheduled departures. Private transfers are available upon request. Rates are subject to change without previous notice due to increases from our suppliers and/or changes in government taxes.

One day Tours: Cancellations within 36 hours prior to departure will be considered a &quot;no-show;&quot; therefore, no refunds will be made.

Hotels and packages: &nbsp;All bookings must be paid in full prior to client&#39;s arrival. &nbsp;Any cancellation within 24 hours prior to client&#39;s arrival will be considered a no-show, and are subject to the penalties imposed by hotels and other service suppliers. <h2>Baggage</h2>

Baggage is carried under passenger&#39;s risk. Liability for loss, delay, or damage to baggage is limited to a maximum of USD $ 100.00, regardless of the value for it&#39;s owner, unless a higher value is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. We assume no liability for fragile, valuable or perishable articles.

<h2>Adventure Activities</h2>

When practicing adventure activities, and/or visiting wilderness areas or other places were the tour enters or takes place, the tour participant attests and verifies to be physically fit and in good health to undertake these activities. The tour participant expressly accepts and assumes the risks and dangers inherent to these areas and activities.

<h2>Accidents</h2>

Liability for death or personal injuries to passengers is limited to contract conditions with suppliers and insurance coverage subscribed by the company, according to the laws of Costa Rica, in effect at the moment of the accident.

Minimum of 2 passengers is required for the tour to run; if the minimum size is not reached, the tour is subject to cancellation and all tickets are refunded or rescheduled.
