Your morning begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort. At the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, you&rsquo;ll visit Walkatjara Art, a thriving Aboriginal-owned and operated art centre. Walkatjara Art is not only a creative space but also a vital hub for Anangu artists to share their stories and maintain their traditions. Known for its vibrant desert colours, Walkatjara Indigenous artwork is rich with the timeless Creation Stories of Uluru and traditional aspects of desert life, helping to keep Anangu culture and knowledge strong for future generations. The art gallery showcases incredible artworks, each piece carrying stories of Tjukurpa (Anangu creation law), providing a rare opportunity to witness authentic Indigenous Australian art firsthand.
