The hiking in Tasmania is world-class. Some walks are guided, while others are unguided (free walking)
In many locations there is a choice between an easier or more advanced option. Essentially, you can make this as active or as easy as you like; all walks are optional and range from 20 minutes up to 4 hours

Over the years, people with a variety of abilities have enjoyed Under Down Under’s tours. We understand that people are unique and that is important to start with a conversation. We appreciate that you may have questions about whether our tour is right for you. It is important that we take the time to understand your needs and expectations, and to consider what is safe and practical to achieve in our small group settings. This is an essential step prior to booking a tour.
Our current itineraries expect each person to be able to carry their own bags, use our existing tour vehicles and stay in our selected hostel or motel facilities (feel free to ask us for these details). For our original tours, meals are designed to be self-catered, with plenty of stops to purchase food, take away or dine-in options. For our comfort tours, several meals are included in the itinerary with the remainder purchased along the way. Unless travelling with a carer or companion, we expect persons to be able to look after themselves independently, without supervision or assistance. Our tours provide numerous opportunities for hikes or walk
No, you will need to arrive into your departure city at least the day before your tour is scheduled to depart, due to the early start to our day tours and multi-day tours you cannot arrive the same day your tour is set to depart.
