What to Expect
Join an incredible morning of paddleboarding adventure enjoying the scenic Aussie nature and wildlife of the Mornington Peninsula! Feel a world away.from the hustle and bustle as you paddle in two spectacular locations, on a tranquil lake with the opportunity to spot kangaroos, eagles and turtles, and a gorgeous ocean cove keeping an eye out for the myriad of marine life.
Meeting early morning at the McCrae Lighthouse, enjoy a short drive to where you’ll find yourself at a wonderful inland waterway for the first part of your stand-up paddleboarding expedition. Your fully qualified instructor-guides will provide you with all necessary instruction on paddleboarding, before you cruise along the lake enjoying the peace and quiet and keeping an eye out for kangaroos on land, white-bellied eagles in the sky, and turtles in the water.
After an hour of taking in the tranquil setting, paddle back to land for a delicious lakeside breakfast with fresh local produce whilst enjoying the scenery. Once you are refuelled, it's time to take a scenic coastal drive to your next SUP safari location, a hidden gem only locals know for your ocean experience.
Paddle along the magnificent coastline exploring the secret coves, and perhaps take the opportunity for a swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy the chance to spot the local marine life inhabitants, including dolphins and rays. Having mastered and fallen in love with paddleboarding, your SUP safari concludes as you are dropped off in time for lunch after an epic morning out.
Departure info
Tour departs from the McCrae Lighthouse, 676 Point Nepean Road, on the Mornington Peninsula at 7.30 am. Please be ready 10 minutes prior to departure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Hat, sunglasses, camera, comfortable quick-drying clothes suitable for the weather (including swimwear), closed shoes that can get wet (or bring sandals/flips flops/jandals/thongs), and a change of clothes for the trip home. Warm clothes and a rain jacket just in case.
This adventure includes standup paddleboarding. While standup paddleboarding experience is not necessary, you do need to be able to swim for this adventure. You must be 16 years old or over to participate in this adventure (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
Your safety is of utmost importance to us and we also want you to enjoy your adventure experience with us. We will check the weather forecast the night before your adventure and if the forecast is not favourable for a safe and/or enjoyable experience we will contact you. If we do need to cancel, you will be given the option of a full refund or to reschedule to another day and/or adventure.
It depends on your balance! Our aim is to give you techniques when standup paddle boarding so you don’t get wet but part of the practice is falling off so be prepared. We’ll provide the life jackets to help keep you warm and afloat but please bring your own swimwear!
You may also get wet if it is very windy or raining. We recommend you bring a change of clothes to change into after the adventure.

The Operator reserves the right to alter itineraries or cancel tours due to adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances outside of their control

Cancellations at least 7 days in advance of the trip will be provided with your choice of a refund or a credit note for a future trip

No refund will be provided for cancellations within 7 days of the trip date, however, we will allow you to transfer that trip booking into another person's name. A $25 administrative fee will apply to all booking changes within 7 days of departure
