Why Do We Love This
This experience gives travellers the chance to learn about British and Aboriginal history through powerful storytelling, which we think is a pretty great idea. This is also one of the first experiences in Australia offering an interactive and eye-opening journey into Aboriginal culture, which is amazing!
What to Expect
This is Australia's most spectacular interactive Aboriginal cultural live theatre show and dining experience. The first of its type in Australia, this interactive and informative show is an immersive experience that will both educate and enlighten you.
This is your chance to experience an evening of powerful storytelling and unique Aboriginal rituals and learn a little more about the formation of 21st-century Australia.
You'll journey back in time to the 1800s, immersing yourself in Australia's rich, sometimes saddening history and enjoying a delicious char-grilled feast at the same time.
Engaging all the senses through light and audio installations, the live-moving theatre experience is brought to life by a cast of 18 direct descendants of the very story you'll be walking through. Told by Jarrah, the only surviving member of three Aboriginal brothers, the story will take you through some of history's main events of the time.
Throughout the show, move between different sets and find yourself transported back in time. Find yourself in the darkened theatre of the Dreamtime, then a church, a jail and more. Set within a real 19th-Century Australian town with a church, pub, and indigenous village complete with authentic Gunyah (Aboriginal hut) dwellings, this 2 hrs 30 min show is genuinely immersive.
This is a uniting story of how two cultures come together to form a nation, and you'll get to connect with Aboriginal culture like never before.
All of the show's Aboriginal actors are direct descendants of Australian Aboriginal tribes, and their families experienced many of the events they bring to life in the show. Once the show has finished, there'll be the chance to speak with performers about the stories and history they have shown you as the cast mix and mingle with you during dinner.

Many families have enjoyed the show, which is suitable for children of all ages. However, there are some mild violent/loud scenes as two brothers heatedly discuss the way forward. It's suggested that families brief the children on what they are about to watch and that it is a historical re-enactment that depicts the conflict surrounding the British and Aboriginal meeting for the first time.
