Yes, you will need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 RAT test, prior to joining a tour. To protect the vulnerable Yolngu communities, this is a requirement even if you have been fully vaccinated.
There is no strenuous activity on the tour. There may be some walking over slightly uneven ground, through the bush, and over soft sand. However, if you have a basic fitness level, and can walk for 15 minutes at a time, you should be fine.
Gove-East Arnhem Airport is the airport that you will need to fly into and out of to join your tour. The airport is around 20 minutes from Nhulunbuy.
The Operator provides pick-ups on the morning of your tour, either with a pick-up from accommodation in Nhulunbuy between 8am~9am or from flights arriving before 10am at Gove-East Arnhem Airport.
If your only option is to arrive into Gove on an afternoon flight, you will need to arrive at least one day before the tour commences.
If you are arriving before the day of the tour please organise your own transport to wherever you are staying. Taxis can be pre-booked on 131 008.
