Spend half a day in historic Port Adelaide, just 20 minutes from the city centre. The Port is home to&nbsp;heritage-listed buildings, the South Australian Maritime Museum, the South Australian Aviation Museum, the National Railway Museum, and Fishermen&#39;s Wharf Market.&nbsp;When you&#39;re not wandering along with the historic buildings, pubs, museums, and galleries, check out the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships&nbsp;Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail on a guided tour.&nbsp;

On this kayak tour, you&#39;ll get to explore a different side of Port Adelaide. Hop on a kayak adventure to spot and learn about the local marine wildlife. On this tour, a&nbsp;highly experienced and qualified guide&nbsp;will make sure you get the most out of the&nbsp;experience by helping you get up close to the animals.&nbsp;You&#39;ll visit the first known permanent metropolitan dolphin population in the world, home to over 40 resident Bottlenose dolphins.

After the dolphin sanctuary, the tour will visit the&nbsp;Garden Island Ships&nbsp;Graveyard Maritime Heritage Trail, one of the largest and most diverse ship&nbsp;graveyards in the world.&nbsp;Boasting the remains of sailing ships, steamers, motor vessels, ferries, barges, dredgers, and pontoons, the site provides a unique glimpse into Port Adelaide&#39;s&nbsp;past. Containing vessels dating from 1856, the graveyard is a haven for birdlife and marine creatures best seen by kayak.&nbsp;

With over 25 shipwrecks in the area, and&nbsp;several almost completely visible, you will get to see these vessels&nbsp;during the kayaking tour. Be sure to ask your guide plenty of questions to learn the history behind these vessels. The tour includes lunch at a local pub, water bottles, safety equipment, and transport back to Adelaide CBD.&nbsp;
